There’s a verse in the Bible where Jesus values the widow’s small offering as the highest contribution because she offered everything she had.
I consider myself a generous person when it comes to spending money on others. I can happily order a sumptuous meal for n number of people. But if I had to cook that meal, I would immediately wish all of you were on a diet and ate very, very little. 🙂
So it hurts me when I have to work more and not when I have to spend more.
I hereby decide to be more generous in my actions too and not let laziness intervene — just like the Deepam burns itself to spread light. 🙂
